Due to the long distance between Gongqing Forest Park and the place where I live, the original barbecue plan in this weekend was canceled. But I am feeling a little regretted now about the decision I have made. Fortunately, Yixuan didn’t change his mind and came to shanghai again. He brought us a heavy downpour and took a QUANJUDE roast duck back to Hangzhou.
Instead of barbecue in the Gongqing Forest Park, we (Yixuan, hurricane, tyy and me) choose to wander around the city again. Actually there is no public place in Shanghai is fresh for me and worth a visit. But I think the importance thing is not the place where we go but the moment we spent together.
I feel so fortunate that I have the friends like you guys and I will cherish the friendship between us forever. To Yixuan, I am looking forward to see him coming to work at shanghai with us someday.
Besides, after this weekend experience, I think there are 3 things I won’t do again in Shanghai. First, I won’t eat the small lobster since the ones in Shanghai’s Restaurant look nastier than I image. Second, Because of the heavy traffic, the bus line through the Huaihai Road is very slow and the subway is still my main vehicle. The last is a small case which I have heard long before, that is, many western parents will not help their child to get up when he falls down on the ground. I encountered this situation at Lujiazui this weekend. A foreign couple was hiking with their child beside the Huangpu River and so did we. The little one ran to me quickly and hit my leg pretty hard and fell down. To my surprise, he didn’t cry at all. I raised the fallen child to its feet and said sorry in polite. But at the same time, his father was very peaceful about that and said, “No problem!†I realized that I might do the wrong thing at once. Now I totally believe that there are some edution methodologies we should learn from western countries.
