My favourite laptop – Thinkpad

ThinkPad X series has been updated to X60. Since I bought my first Laptop IBM ThinkPad X22 about four years ago, I have rarely paid attention to the market of laptops.  In the past three years, laptops have become so popular that many of my friends have their own laptops now.

My current computer configuration is

  • 800-MHz Mobile PIII-M processor,
  • 384MB RAM,
  • 60GB hard drive.

(The original specification is 128MB RAM and 20GB hard drive). Although it costed $3,100 once, it is rather outdated nowadays. But I am still very satisfied with its performance. I use it to surf the Internet, read emails and write Blog every day. I even use it playing the 3D game WarCraft III. So my rule is choosing the spec is enough for myself. Unlike buying a desktop computer, a very important consideration of buying a laptop is its after service. Because a laptop is not easy to repair by yourself, it is better to choose a company which provides good after service such as HP, IBM (Lenovo now). So where to buy? In Shanghai, Xujiahui may be a choice. But if you do not have lots of budge, it may be a bad choice. As I know, the price is a little high there. There are now many brand laptop

There are now many brand laptop nowadays such as Lenovo, HP and DELL etc. However, Personally, I like IBM ThinkPad best. It attracts me not only by its stability but also its high-quality design.
